Today's protest against the public transportation increase. Approximately 2.500 people marched through Conde da Boa Vista Avenue, Derby, town and "Palácio Campo das Princesas", the seat of government.

Apipucos

Apipucos Weir is located in the north zone of Recife. Its origin is the Engenho Apipucos, on the XVI century. Nowadays, it's a residencial area, with some mansions.

International Anti-Corruption Day

On the International Anti-Corruption Day, a clothesline was raised in front of the City Council of Recife with signatures in support of the project "Ficha Limpa Recife". This was an initiative of OPECC in partnership with other nonpartisan groups: Anonymous.PE, Dia do Basta, NasRuas.PE, Consciência Cidadã, among others.

No Dia Mundial de Combate à Corrupção foi levantado um varal em frente à Câmara Municipal do Recife, com assinaturas em apoio ao Projeto de Iniciativa Popular "Ficha Limpa Recife". Iniciativa da OPECC em parceria com Anonymous.PE, Dia do Basta, NasRuas.PE, Consciência Cidadã, entre outros.

Synagogue Kahal Zur Israel

General Headquarters Command of Pernambuco Military Police

The General Headquarters Command of Pernambuco Military Police, known as the Derby General Headquarters, had initiated the construction by the Government Sergio Loreto in 1922 and was completed in October 1924. The Governor has set a plate in delivery of the building to the Public Force, where it is written: "This building was built by Hon. Mr. Dr. Sergio Loreto, State Governor, inaugurated in 18 October 1925. "

O Quartel do Comando Geral da Polícia Militar de Pernambuco, conhecido como Quartel do Derby, teve iniciada a construção pelo Governo Sérgio Loreto em 1922 e foi concluído em outubro de 1924. O Governador fixou uma placa na entrega do prédio à Força Pública, onde está escrito: “Este Edifício foi mandado construir pelo Exmo. Sr. Dr. Sergio Loreto, Governador do Estado, que inaugurou a 18 de outubro de 1925”.
