Apipucos

Apipucos Weir is located in the north zone of Recife. Its origin is the Engenho Apipucos, on the XVI century. Nowadays, it's a residencial area, with some mansions.

O Açude de Apipucos está localizado na zona norte de Recife. Sua origem é o Engenho Apipucos, no séc. XVI. Hoje em dia, é uma área residencial, com algumas mansões.

International Anti-Corruption Day

On the International Anti-Corruption Day, a clothesline was raised in front of the City Council of Recife with signatures in support of the project "Ficha Limpa Recife". This was an initiative of OPECC in partnership with other nonpartisan groups: Anonymous.PE, Dia do Basta, NasRuas.PE, Consciência Cidadã, among others.
